Inkwell & Friends Publishing grew from a simple belief: stories should do more than fill pages. They should spark curiosity, invite questions, encourage imagination, and give readers something to carry with them after the final page.
What began with the creation of the fictional Mr. Inkwell and a desire to help young people discover the joy of stories has grown into an independent publishing company creating books and educational resources for readers of different ages. Our work ranges from imaginative books for children to literary, psychological, supernatural, and speculative fiction for teens and adults.
Stories are Meant to Start Conversations
We believe reading doesn’t end when the story does.
That’s why education is built into the philosophy of Inkwell & Friends Publishing. Works appropriate for classroom use are supported by Teacher Editions designed to help educators move beyond comprehension questions and invite students to examine ideas, wrestle with ambiguity, make connections, and develop interpretations of their own.
We also create free educational resources that teachers can bring directly into their classrooms because curiosity shouldn’t require a purchase.

Robert Loxx is the pen name used for fiction for teens and adults, exploring the moments when the familiar world stops behaving quite the way we expect it to.

Growing Intentionally
Inkwell & Friends Publishing is an independent publishing company with room to grow. We are building a home not only for books, but for educational resources, school visits, writing experiences, and new ways for readers and storytellers to connect. Where that eventually leads is part of the adventure. For now, we’ll keep planting stories, nurturing curiosity, and inviting wonder.
